Research is a vital component of the Kennedy Krieger Institute’s (KKI) multidisciplinary approach and mission to improve the lives of children, adolescents, and adults with neurological, rehabilitative, and/or developmental needs.

To support its research initiatives, KKI submits approximately 300 proposals yearly to federal agencies, foundations, and private sector organizations and has been awarded an average of $20M annually over the past 10 years.
